Band 5 - $37.96 - $42.78 excluding superannuation
As the First Nations Community Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening Councils cultural capability and embedding First Nations perspectives across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with First Nations communities, Traditional Owner organisations, and council staff to ensure culturally safe engagement and meaningful inclusion in Council planning and practice. This role also supports the delivery of Councils Reconciliation Action Plan and contributes to building a more inclusive and culturally informed workplace and community.

Tertiary qualifications in First Nations Studies, Community Development or Social Science
Experience and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture in Southern Grampians region
Being of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander background
Police Check
Working with Children Check
